|Welcome to PSPA 2009, a time to meet with your customers and learn about what motivates the decision-making process. This year’s conference starts with the customer and ends with the customer. You will learn how to develop new strategies and tailor your business model with the customer in mind.|
The conference begins with the popular “Talking With the End Customer” keynote where real moms and kids hold all the secrets. Once you know the secrets, the first day you will have a choice of strategy and planning sessions including topics about the latest school photography trends from the 2008 PMA Portrait Report, great opportunities in ecommerce, building great websites, creating and implementing winning marketing plans, brand experience and the web, and new product ideas.
The second day continues with sessions on marketing to tweens and teens, software solutions for yearbook publishing, and digital lighting. The day wraps up with the PSPA Town Hall Meeting, a panel of the PSPA board discussing today’s business issues and opportunities.
The final day of the conference includes a session on “going green” as well as techniques in portraiture and lighting featuring Will Crockett, Ralph Romaguera Sr., and Clay Blackmore. The last session of the conference again is about listening to the customer with a panel of school administrator decision makers.
All in all, there are three keynote sessions, 16 breakouts, one keynote luncheon, two luncheons with roundtables, and plenty of time for networking and visiting the PMA 09 trade show.
This exciting “listen to your customer” conference with top-rated speakers offering a high level of education is one you won’t want to miss.
I look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
Harvey E. Parido,
2008 PSPA President
