Standard Booth Guidelines DEFINITION
One or more ten foot by ten foot booth units in a line of similar, attached units, also termed Linear Booths.
INTENT
Each exhibitor is entitled to a reasonable sightline from the aisle to the upper, identifying portion of their display backwall. Within reason, and the bounds of common courtesy, each exhibitor should be allowed to present their products attractively to the visitors in the aisle. In addition, exhibitors should not have their visual impact lessened by over-height objects in the booths next to or behind theirs.
HEIGHT
Front five (5) feet of the booth, nearest the aisle: All display fixtures and furnishings, and the signs and products placed on them, should not exceed 4.6 feet total height from the floor. Examples: a 25-inch-high product may be placed on a regular 30-inch-high draped table; a 13-inch-high sign may stand on top of a 42-inch-high counter; a 16-inch-high computer may be placed on a 39-inch-high pedestal; a 55-inch-high catalog rack may stand on the floor, etc. Rear four (4) feet of the booth, nearest the drape backdrop: Backwall displays should not exceed 9 feet total height, including all lighting fixtures and other details. All exhibited products over 4.6 feet high and all shelf units, easels, tower cases, video carts, umbrellas, etc., should be restricted to this area of a standard booth. Helium balloons are prohibited by the Convention Center. Also note that fire marshal regulations require emergency access space between the drape backdrop and the backs of displays; nothing may be stored behind any backwall display.
CARPETING AND CLEANING Note: Exhibitor must carpet their space, or supply other acceptable floorcover, at their own expense.
Carpet is not included with PMA Standard Booth space; exhibitors must provide or rent carpets or floorcoverings. Standard Booth rental carpets are cut nine (9) feet deep from the front edge of the booth. Pre-show and nightly vacuuming and wastebasket emptying are automatic and complimentary.

CANOPIES AND SIDE RETURN WALLS
Canopies and side return walls are only allowed in the rear four (4) feet of the booth.
OVER HEIGHT PRODUCT EXCEPTION:
Exhibitors’ own floor-standing products may be allowed to exceed Standard Booth Guidelines; contact PMA Trade Exhibits for approved positioning of photo-imaging products over 55 inches high (140 cm).

EXCEPTION FOR MULTIPLE STANDARD BOOTHS (Stand Alone):
Exhibiting firms who have contracted for a run of standard booths where they have both corners (i.e. at least 10' away from neighboring booths) may be allowed a maximum height of 9' within the entire space. Contact Trade Exhibit Services for approval. |
