With a wide range of output, the DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out is where
digital printers, ink, media and RIPs compete using a challenging target file. Expert judges evaluate for
neutral gray balance reproduction, saturation, shadow detail and quality, overall tonality, hue shift, and

displayed at PMA 08.
DIMA Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out
See the best photo kiosks line up to compete for international acclaim.
Self-service technology experts and consumers evaluate ease of use, features and functions in several
categories (digital order station, instant print kiosk, software only and other than photo). Attendees can
judge for themselves when they touch, feel and make prints at PMA 08.
Photo Imaging Education Association (PIEA) 2008
International Student-Teacher Photo Exhibition and Competition
The top 100 to 200 student and teacher photographs are on exhibit at PMA 08. This
contest offers more than US$157,000 in prizes donated by more than 80 generous sponsors. The competition is
open to students everywhere, at all ages, and to their teachers.
Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA) International Framing Competition
The grand finale of a yearlong chapter-level competition. Winning chapter
