International Visitors
As the world’s largest annual international photo imaging trade show, PMA welcomes
attendees from more than 100 countries to this event every year. The following information should assist you
in planning your travel to the PMA 08 International Convention and Trade Show.
Please note: the United States government has instituted new, tighter visa
requirements for non-immigrant applicants. This may lengthen the time it takes to process your visa
application. Make sure you begin your visa application early and well in advance of your travel dates. It
could take as long as two to three months to obtain your visa.

As part of the new Western
Hemisphere Travel Initiative, you will now be required to have a passport or
other accepted document (please note: the passport is the document of choice) that establishes your identity
and nationality to enter or re-enter the United States. Apply for your passport early as this requirement
goes into effect on January 8, 2008.

Due to recent changes for nonimmigrant applicants wishing to visit the United States, the amount of time it
takes to process visa applications may be longer than you have previously experienced. Begin your visa
applications process well in advance of your travel dates and no later than two to three months before you
