Australia 2007 Imaging Technology Expo has record attendance
The successful PMA Australia 2007 Imaging Technology Expo ended in Melbourne
late on May 6. There were approximately 18,000 people in attendance including exhibition
personnel.
Awards given
during PMA Australia Expo
Several PMA and PICA awards were given during the PMA Australia 2007 Imaging
Technology Expo, including the PMA Young Achiever of the Year, recognition of Service Awards, the
Golden Tripod Award, the Australian Dealer of Year Award, the Australian Sales Representative of the Year,
and the Celebrity Photographer of the Year for 2007.
Day 3 and 4:
PMA Australia Expo advised businesses on how to grow; named Young Achiever of the Year
Troy Hazard told attendees they need to recognize
that things change in business everyday in his May 5 session "Taking your Business from Good to Great."
Susan Giles from Ted's Camera in Adelaide was named
the PMA Australia National Young Achiever.

In a fast-paced 50-minute interactive session on May 5, "The Five Challenges
Facing Retailers Today," Glenn Omura referred to the
previous work done in the U.S. market and discussed in the BestPhotoList Web
forum.
Day 2:
Australia Expo recognizes Young Achievers, discusses retail space, new media
PMA Australia sponsors the Young Achievers program, which recognizes younger
industry members making a difference and showing leadership in the industry. At the PMA Australia 2007
Imaging Technology Expo, Travis Adams of Photo Barn,
Pakenham, was named the Victorian Young Achiever. Nathan Berting of Dalby Color Innovations, Dalby, was named the Australian National Young Achiever.
