Digital Processing Centers (QDPC)
PMA has created a program to increase awareness of making prints from digital
cameras at the retail level. The PMA Qualified Digital Processing Center program is designed to create
awareness among the consumer public through public relations, advertising and newscasts when and where
available.
Expert
Photo Centers
Become a PMA Expert Photo Center to elevate and differentiate your retail
services from the competition. Invest in highly trained and qualified staff that has completed the Certified
Photographic Consultant (CPC) or Society of Photo Finishing Engineers (SPFE) training program, and consumers
will seek you out for their digital printing needs. As an Expert Photo Center your store’s location, website

Certified Picture
Framer® (CPF®)
Earn the framer's mark of excellence and test your knowledge in the five exam
content areas: Preservation, General Knowledge, Mechanical, Math and Mounting. More than 3,000 individuals
worldwide have achieved CPF status since the program's inception in 1986. Any picture framer who has a
minimum of one year of hands-on experience in retail or wholesale picture framing may apply for
certification.
Master Certified Picture Framer® (MCPF®)
Ready to test your knowledge of preservation framing? Looking for a hands-on
evaluation of your work? Join an exclusive group of framing professionals who have earned the Master
Certified Picture Framer (MCPF) designation and proven themselves in the field of preservation framing.
Current CPFs are qualified to test for the MCPF designation.
