PMA Regulatory Activities

PMA's Regulatory Activities department assists members with environmental health and safety issues through the provision of information, education, and member advocacy services. PMA offers direct, positive, and proactive representation of the photo imaging industry with federal, state and local governments on existing and proposed laws, rules, and regulations affecting the PMA membership. PMA participates in and supports coalitions, work groups, and advisory committees to further broaden the base of our influence in the representation of member's interests.

Counterfeit Batteries
There have been an increasing number of problems with counterfeit battery packs in digital cameras. The Counterfeit Battery Pack Working group has created a website to assist the imaging industry in understanding the issues associated with these batteries.
