NAPET
Through detailed skillfulness, the members of the National Association of Photo Equipment Technicians, NAPET,
renew their commitment to restoring treasured photographic equipment for consumers and businesses alike. In
providing management-oriented information, events, and services, NAPET guides repair technicians in operating
their businesses more effectively, efficiently, and profitably.
NAPET bridges together independent camera repair businesses and photo manufacturers for
increased communication and improved services offered by photographic equipment repair businesses. Each year,
NAPET honors dedicated manufacturers for their support of camera repair stores with the annual Martin Strauss
Manufacturer Service Support Award.
NAPET builds on an 83-year legacy established by PMA, a worldwide photo imaging association, of providing
association services. Together, PMA and NAPET lead members to discover, understand, and act on new business
opportunities. As a nonprofit organization, any success enjoyed by NAPET in its endeavors directly benefits
the photo industry, allowing NAPET to provide continual services and activities for members.
