Certified Photographic Consultant
PMA awards the Certified Photographic Consultant (CPC) designation to individuals
who successfully meet rigorous testing on photo and digital imaging technologies. The CPC is the
highest professional recognition in the photo/digital imaging industry.
How does the CPC program work?
This comprehensive training program ensures sales associates are competent to
handle practical situations-like analyzing photographs, processes' and equipment and are also able to
recommend products and techniques to improve future results. Through a no-fail training process, the CPC
program prepares candidates to become fully-accredited Certified Photographic Consultants. PMA and you (the
employer) participated jointly to bring your staff to the point of CPC candidacy.

Certified Photographic Consultants can promote their certification through two
services from PMA. PMA in conjunction with the CPC Advisory Committee has come up with a way for CPC’s to
promote themselves to their customers through sales counter signs or on the back of their business cards. The
CPC counter sign and business card downloads are available exclusively for CPC’s.
