This office was established in Munich/Germany in 1990, and I have been acting as its Director from that time. It was designed to serve the PMA membership in Continental Europe, and over the years additional subsidiaries were added for this purpose, such as the Office for Mediterranean Europe in Milan/Italy, and the Russian Office in Moscow. In addition, this address also houses the PMA Office for Central and Eastern Europe, with Karen Petersen-Gyöngyösi, as its Director.

Currently, our membership in Europe comprises appr. 3000 companies, from almost every European country. In order to provide a large part of this membership community with information about their own market and in their own language, monthly newsletters are available in German, French, Italian and Russian.

In addition, every other year PMA organizes the PMA Europe conferences, with one- or two-day events held in France, Italy, Russia and the U.K. These events offer a mini trade show, a wide range of educational sessions, and a panel discussion with leading industry representatives. They will be held again in September and October 2007.
