Changes to the SPFE Study Guide and exam
In effort to keep up with the ever-changing world of image processing, the SPFE Study Guide has undergone some changes. Four new chapters focusing on digital imaging technology are included, as well as 50 new Study Guide and test questions for the final exam.

A low-cost, high-return certification program:
SPFE Packets are US$35, which includes the first year of dues. Renewals are US$15 after first year.
The candidate arranges to take the SPFE examination by contacting PMA to arrange for testing supervision, or take the test online. Passing grade for SPFE is 80%. The final test can be taken at PMA conventions or regional division meeting, at the business establishments of PMA officers and committee members, public libraries, CPC Centers, and other pre-arranged locations that are willing to provide test supervision.
