Why is the PMA show now at CES?
With the convergence of digital imaging and consumer electronics, PMA has decided to move the show to the International CES for several reasons:
•    The traditional photo market that PMA serves has a need to look into new products and services outside the strictly photo market to offer their customers. CES is the ideal venue for such products.
•    PMA@CES will bring a breadth and depth of photo-specific products and services that CES attendees would not have otherwise been able to experience.
•    PMA and CES have enjoyed a close relationship over the years as this convergence has taken place, and believe now is the best time to combine our efforts to bring the ultimate event in photo to the ultimate event in consumer electronics.

Are PMA and CEA now one organization?
No. PMA and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® are separate associations that have come together to offer their members and event attendees an enhanced opportunity to explore the photographic and imaging industry and learn how to take advantage of the integration and connectivity of personal content and home entertainment.
What does PMA@CES mean for attendees and exhibitors?
PMA has created a focused area within the 2014 International CES for digital imaging. Beginning with the 2012 International CES, products that are aimed at both the consumer and professional imaging market will now be located within one event. For 2014, PMA will again bring its expertise in the professional digital imaging marketplace to CES and offer again, a complete array of digital imaging located together. The International CES badge will allow access to both International CES and the PMA@CES Exhibits. Registrants for the PMA conferences will automatically receive CES badge credentials.

Will there still be education and conferences?
Yes. PMA will continue to offer top-notch educational sessions to photo imaging trade and professional photographers. The preshow PMA conferences, which will include DIMA, PSPA, SPAA and AIE  programming will take place January 5-6, 2014, at Bally’s Las Vegas. PMA@CES conference sessions will take place at The LVH on January 7-9, 2014. Information about these education sessions and speakers can be found here.
