David Moloney

David is a 25-year veteran of the semiconductor having worked at Infineon in Germany and ST-Micro in Italy he went on to join the founding team at Parthus developing the company’s Bluetooth technology.  He left Parthus in 2003 and joined Silansys Technologies which was acquired by FrontierSilicon which he left in 2005 to co-found Movidius with Sean Mitchell, a former colleague from Parthus.  David has a PhD in High-Performance Computing from Trinity College Dublin and BEng from Dublin City University.  He is currently CTO for Movidius and is responsible for advanced R&D and the development of its multicore processor technology and platform.
