Kristy has been following digital imaging markets since 1989, as the market grew from the earliest consumer scanning to todays's pervasive digital photography.
She launched InfoTrends Research Group in 1996, which joined with CAP Ventures in 2002 to form InfoTrends Inc. In her analyst role, she has forecast all aspects of the digital imaging market, including the difficult questions of how revenue will shift in the digital world, and has chaired numerous conferences. In 2006, Kristy left InfoTrends and is now an independent writer focusing on the consumer side of the market.
She advocates vendor practices that will improve the end user experience.
