Marion Knoche Global Director GfK Retail and Technology
Marion Knoche is the Global Director for GfK Retail & Technology in Nuremberg, Germany, responsible for Imaging, Optical Products, Healthcare Products, Ad hoc and FashionLife®. Ms. Knoche visited Oxford College, French colleges and studied International Market Research, Psychology, Economy, Geography and History. Ex-aminations were done in International Marketing and Psychology as well as Geogra-phy. After having finished university, Marion Knoche worked on a trainee centre at Philips and moved to GfK in 1979. Marion Knoche got responsibility for the Photo-graphic Retail Audit and went international on this in the year 1980. Within the last 25 years, a Photographic Retail Audit had got built up under her activities in Western and Eastern European countries but also in Greater Middle East, Latam, Asia and Af-rica. Nowadays, the international service to world-wide Imaging clients as well as product development and world-wide data homogenisation is her responsibility. Based on her long established knowledge Marion Knoche got in 2008 the responsibil-ity to build an information system, for Fashion in Europe . Currently she is establish-ing a retail audit for both, the Fashion retailer and the fashion industry.
This latest project is meanwhile successfully working in the major west European countries.
